About the event

Does human anxiety transfer onto companion dogs? Can dogs feel our anxiety? Can you make your dog anxious during training or behavior modification if you are anxious yourself? If you are an anxious individual and your dog is an anxious individual, is that a valid reason to rehome your dog? During this webinar we will review the current scientific research about emotional contagion between humans and dogs and what it actually means. Additionally, dog owners will learn how to support and empower themselves when their own anxiousness is a factor during training or behavior modification.
